There are a lot of books that are coming in 2021 that I want to read but here’s a list of my most anticipated reads.
The Nobleman's Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks (Montague Siblings #3) by Mackenzi Lee – I do need to catch up with this series but I loved The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue and I can’t wait to see more of my favourite characters.
A Court of Silver Flames (A Court of Thorns and Roses #4) by Sarah J. Maas – This is another series I have to finish before I can read this one but it follows Nesta which I am looking forward to.
Chain of Iron (The Last Hours #2) by Cassandra Clare – I don’t know much about this series but I am currently reading most of the Shadowhunter books for the first time and really enjoying it.
The Gilded Ones (Deathless #1) by Namina Forna – This has been on my radar for a while and I actually got approved for a blog tour in February so keep your eyes open for that.
Blade of Secrets (Bladesmith #1) by Tricia Levenseller – I have read almost all of Tricia Levenseller’s books and I really enjoy them and I have a good feeling about Blade of Secrets and I can’t wait to read it.
Empire of the Vampire (Empire of the Vampire #1) by Jay Kristoff – This is a strange one for me, on the one hand I really want to read it because it reminds me a little of Interview with the Vampire. However, on the other hand, I have really mixed feelings about Kristoff’s writing. I loved the Illuminae Files and Nevernight by I hated Godsgrave and haven’t read Darkdawn and since I haven’t read any of Kristoff’s other books so we shall see what happens here.
Victories Greater Than Death (Universal Expansion #1) by Charlie Jane Anders – This is another book I was approved for on NetGalley and it seems really interesting.
A Trial of Sorcerers (A Trial of Sorcerers #1) by Elise Kova – I recently read A Deal with the Elf King and I loved it and I am currently reading my way through all of Elise Kova’s books and I can’t wait to get to this one.
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir – I haven’t read much but Andy Weir because they haven’t really caught my interest but this one does.
A Dance with the Fae Rogue (Married to Magic #2) by Elise Kova – This is the companion to A Deal with the Elf King and although it doesn’t follow the same characters from the first book and I am still really excited to read it as soon as I can.
Lore by Alexandra Bracken – Greek gods and goddess being hunted, that’s all I know about this book and I am onboard.
Blessed Monsters (Something Dark and Holy #3) by Emily A. Duncan – This is the conclusion to the series and all 3 books are on my TBR for 2021 and I can’t wait to get into them.
Bone Crier's Dawn (Bone Grace #2) by Kathryn Purdie – Both books are on my 2021 TBR and I am ashamed to save I haven’t gotten to Bone Crier’s Moon yet but it is coming soon.
