Billionaire’s Babysitter by Flora Ferrari

Book Review

Title: Billionaire’s Babysitter

Author: Flora Ferrari

Genre: Romance

Rating: *****

Review: I have read a few books by Flora Ferrari and all I knew about Billionaire’s Babysitter was that it follows Anna and Cole. We are introduced to Anna who has recently graduated from business school but has no job prospects in sight and with her education debts rising by the second she is becoming desperate and her day doesn’t get any better when a little boy on a bike sends her crashing to the ground and she is prepared to let him knows who’s boss. We then switch to Cole’s perspective and we learn that Cole is taking care of five-year-old Benjamin after his parents were killed in Afghanistan and he actually turns out to be a sweet little boy but that doesn’t change the fact that Anna is the daughter of Cole’s best friend and that he is madly attracted to her.

The majority of this novel was Cole and Anna getting to know one another as adults, developing not only their relationship together but their individual and joint relationship to Benjamin which was so heartfelt that I almost cried at times. Seeing them come together in an emotional sense as a family before anything happened between the couple was unusual for this type of novel but I really enjoyed it.

The ending and the extended epilogue was the best thing for me as we see the family grow and expand in numbers, but we also get to see how strong the relationship Anna developed with Benjamin truly is and how much he grew to love Anna even to the point where he calls her mom. I highly recommend not only this novel but all of Flora Ferrari’s work.
