It's been a while since I have last posted which has been due to stuff going on in my life and I do apologize about my long absence but I'm so thankful to Jodi for continuing to post and keep this blog alive.
So where exactly did I go?
Well unfortunately at the end of September it was discovered that my Dad had a brain tumor and that he would need to have surgery in October. It has been a long road already as they determined that the tumor was indeed cancerous and my time with my Dad is limited. They say on average a person with brain cancer has about 18 months to 2 years. I've been struggling a lot with the idea that this year could be the last time I get to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with him as well as all of the things that he will be missing out on in my future.
Since the discovery of my Dad's tumor, I have not been able to pick up a book. I'm slowly getting back into it but it has taken a lot of time to finish even the shortest of chapters. But I am hopeful that soon I will find a book that can pull me back inside its cover and let me slip into the pages. Until then, my posts may be sporadic at best.
However with all of the time that I've had, I've been pouring a lot of hours into starting up my small business making bath bombs and soaps. The shop will be going live shortly and I'm so excited to share with you all everything my business partner and I have been working on. Orders may take about 2-3 weeks to be process and shipped and custom orders can potentially take longer depending if we need supplies to process it. We try to keep fragrance on hand so custom orders wont take as long but sometimes fragrances are more popular and we have to order more in which typically takes about 1.5 weeks from the time we place our order to when I receive it.
