Fucked Right by Rhianna Burwell (She Teaches Him Book 3)

Book Review

Title: Fucked Right by Rhianna Burwell (She Teaches Him Book 3)

Genre: Novella, Erotic Romance

Rating: 5 Stars

So this novella is following Finn’s younger brother, Jace and his childhood best friend and as many of you will know friends to lovers is a weakness of mine much more than enemies to lovers. Jace has been jealous of his brother since he became famous as he lost a portion of his identity with it. People stopped seeing him as Jace and only as Finn’s younger brother which was hell for his love life since most women were only using him to get to his brother so he swore off dating and sex.

Jace and Callie met in college and became friends and have been ever since but Jace recently realised that he is completely in love with Callie and can never have her. Meanwhile, we know from Callie’s perspective that she has wanted Jace for a long time and has been waiting three years for him to make a move and he never has so she believes that he doesn’t feel the same way but neither want to destroy the friendship they have.

Things start to heat up when both are invited to Finn and Emma’s engagement party and Jace realises that b is brother is off the market for good but it won’t stop people trying to get to him through Jace. As the night wears on we can see the tension between Jace and Callie growing but when he tries to make a move Finn steps in because his brother is drunk. This almost leads to a fight between the brothers that Emma and Callie break up but it is a sign of things to come.

Afterwards when things have calmed down and most of the guests have gone home the remaining group play a game of Never Have I Ever where Callie accidentally learns that Jace is still a virgin and this sparks something in her. After going to bed in separate rooms neither of them can sleep because of the drunken confession Jace made about wanting Callie so when she barges into him room and catches him pleasuring himself, things boil over. Callie’s dominant side comes out as she forces Jace to confront his feelings for her and she takes his virginity and this honestly one of the hottest scenes I have read in a long time.

The pair decide to have a relationship as they already have a strong friendship and great sexual compatibility to work with but the highlight was the epilogue where we revisit Ava and Joey. Ava and Joey have been exclusive for a while and manages to work around Ava’s job. Joey didn’t want Ava taking other men to bed but he also didn’t want her to stop working in an industry she loved so she decides to be a cam girl and actually uses Joey in a stream for the first time. Joey is insanely excited about this and watching the dominant role switch between the pair of them was amazing and that confession at the end was the cherry on top. Honestly, I binged these three novellas one after the other and I pray that Burwell right something longer and more in-depth in the future as I need more from this woman as soon as I can get my hands on it.
