Title: Locked in Love by Dana Isaly (Nick and Holly Book 5)
Genre: Erotic, Romance
Rating: 5 Stars
Honestly, I have to say this was my favourite book in the series by far. Not only are we treated to the wedding and everything that goes with that, we also get to see sides to the characters we haven’t seen before and we get some more depth into the characters including the side characters. The majority of the novella is taken up by the wedding which was one of the best scenes in this series and reading about Nick crying as he sees Holly walking down the aisle to him broke my heart in the best way possible.
The highlight of this novella for me was the character development as we get quite a lot. We’ve seen Holly develop into this more confident women with Nick and Nick has really tapped into his softer side which we see with his son Henry as he seeks advice from his father. I also really like how Holly’s parents aren’t against the relationship and completely support it despite the large age gap between them because they understand Holly has found what she needs in Nick and that Nick is willing to go to the ends of the earth for their daughter. The epilogue as they prepare to go on their honeymoon was great but the only thing missing for me was more on the children front. Nick already ahs two grown children and they do have a conversation earlier in the series that hints towards children but we never got it. That being said, Isaly might write more in this series so it could be a possibility in the future.
