Review: All I knew about Pleasure Points was that it is an adult romance which I have been reading a lot of lately, the novel follows Grady and Daisy. Grady is a famous hockey player while Daisy is a massage therapist covering for another woman while she has a broken wrist. It is lust at first sight for this pair but when Grady invites Daisy out for dinner, she isn’t sure if she should accept and much to my annoyance they are interrupted before anything can happen or be said.
Despite having a huge amount of attraction and lust between them Grady is determined to get to know Daisy and she lets him although there are some subtle hints that she is inexperienced in these matters. Despite wanting to fall into bed together Grady doesn’t want this to be a one-time thing and reluctantly lets Daisy go promising to see her again the very next day.
As the pair engage in a romantic relationship that actually moves quite quickly neither is worried about the future, however, there is quite a serious undertone running throughout this novel and it was a really interesting twist that I didn’t see coming. I highly recommend Pleasure Points if you want a short, steamy but interesting read.
