Title: Sweat and Soap, Vol. 4 by Kintetsu Yamada

Genre: Manga, Comedy, Romance

Rating: 5 Stars

In volume 4 we learn that Asako and Natori have now been together for almost six months and Natori has been thinking about how to take their relationship to the next level. In an unthinking moment, Natori asks Asako to move in with him since his lease is up in February but her reactions wasn’t what he expected and he is quite worried about seeing her again. During this time both seek some advice from co-workers and friends about what to do next and seeing this open and honest communication was great.

Through these conversations Natori learns that he didn’t consider Asako’s feelings when making the request since for her moving in together would mean that he is planning more permenant things like marriage but they haven’t been together that long. Meanwhile, Asako realises that she does want those things with Natori despite being stunned in the moment and that leaving him hanging without an answer will cause him unnecessary anxiety so they meet up in order to discuss the situation.

Seeing them express what they want from their relationship and what they hope for in the future was a touching moment and while they aren’t rushing since it is November they are working on the assumption that they will move in together. However, Asako does want to tell her father about their relationship before they do and Natori wants to meet her parents. While Natori is anxious about this he goes to Keita and asks him to test him again in preparation for meeting the parents and Keita is cruel about it like he was the first time but he also knows Natori is what his sister wants and isn’t going to interfere with that.
